Privacy policy
Last updated 27 October 2026
Fitly is a nutrition, training, and progress app for iPhone and Android. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and the choices you have.
The service is provided by Mohammad Khalis Yusuf Mustaqim, Indonesia (“Fitly”, “we”, “us”). Contact: privacy@fitly.id.
Information you give us
When you create an account with Apple or Google, we receive the identifier, name, and email address that service shares with us. When you sign up with email, we store the email address you enter.
During setup and while you use Fitly, we store what you enter:
- Profile: sex, date of birth, height, weight, goal, diet, training frequency, country, and language.
- Optional answers: where you heard about Fitly, whether you have tried other apps, what gets in the way of your goal, notification preference, and a referral code.
- Account details you add later: username, display name, photo, bio, and links.
- Logs: meals and ingredients, calories and macros, water, workouts, sets, cardio, body measurements, and the nutrition plan calculated from your answers.
- Photos you choose to add: meals, menus, barcodes, progress, body, profile, and posts.
- Community activity: posts, comments, recipes, routines, follows, likes, and reports.
A referral code records which partner introduced you. It is not sold as a contact list.
Health data
If you connect Apple Health or Health Connect, Fitly can read, with your permission:
- Steps, walking and running distance, and active energy
- Sleep
- Heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen, VO2 max, and respiratory rate
- Weight, body fat, and hydration
Fitly can write back only what you log in the app: weight, body fat, water, workouts, and active energy.
Health data is used to show your own diary, analytics, and plan. It is not used for advertising, not sold, and not shared with data brokers. You can disconnect Apple Health or Health Connect in the system settings at any time. Disconnecting stops new reads and writes. It does not delete logs you already saved in Fitly.
Photos and analysis
Camera and photo library access is used only when you scan a barcode, photograph a meal or menu, or save or pick a picture.
When you ask Fitly to read a meal, a menu, or a body photo, that image is sent to our server and then to OpenAI to produce the estimate, rating, or safety check you requested. A body rating may also include the age on your profile so the request is handled as an adult account. These images are not used to advertise to you, and we do not sell them.
Estimates and body ratings are coaching aids. They are not a medical diagnosis.
How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Create and keep your account and plan
- Show your diary, analytics, and progress
- Run the subscription you buy
- Let you publish and follow community content, and review reports
- Send notifications you allow, such as a trial reminder or a rest timer
- Keep the service reliable and enforce these rules
We do not sell personal information. Fitly does not show ads inside the app. If you allow app tracking, Meta receives an advertising identifier plus app events such as install, finishing setup, registration, starting checkout, trial start, and subscription. Those events include the store price and currency. They do not include meals, photos, health data, or your account contents. You can refuse tracking in the iPhone prompt, or turn it off later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Who processes it
| Who | Why |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Account, database, and photo storage |
| Apple | Sign in with Apple, App Store payments, and Apple Health on iPhone |
| Google sign-in, Play Store payments, and Health Connect on Android | |
| RevenueCat | Subscription status from the stores. Card numbers stay with Apple or Google |
| OpenAI | Meal, menu, and body photo analysis, and photo safety checks |
| Meta | Measuring ads that lead to Fitly, when tracking is allowed. Not used for meals, photos, or health data |
These providers process data only to run Fitly, except Meta, which uses the advertising identifier and the subscription events above to measure ads. We do not authorize any provider to use your health data or photos for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep account and log data while your account exists.
In the app, open Settings → Account → Delete account. That deletes the sign-in record, the profile, logs, and files stored for that account, including meal, progress, body, avatar, post, and community photos. Deleting the account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel that in the App Store or Play Store subscription settings, or you may be charged again.
Some records can remain where the law requires it, or where another person’s copy of a shared post cannot be removed without breaking their content. Referral signup records may keep a code after the account is gone, without the deleted profile.
Your choices
- You can edit your profile and logs in the app.
- You can deny camera, photos, notifications, Apple Health, or Health Connect. The related feature will not work until you allow it.
- You can delete the account as described above.
- To ask for a copy of your data, or to ask a question about this policy, email privacy@fitly.id from the address on the account.
Children
Fitly is not for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly create accounts for children. If you believe a child has an account, email us and we will delete it.
Where data is handled
The app is used in more than one country. Our providers may store and process information outside the country where you live, including the United States. We use them to provide the service you signed up for.
Changes
If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date above and, when it matters, tell you in the app. The current version is always at https://fitly.id/privacy.
